Prague is a central European city, which is better known as the capital of the Czech Republic. Its geographical position is 5005"N and 1427"E. The total area is 496 square km and the city is home to more than 1,21 million people. Historians suggest that Prague was founded in the ninth century. Architectural remains of the twelfth century are well maintained and on public display. At present the city boasts of a highly explicit and architectural Jewish quarter. Tourists may visit the lesser town, old town or new town. There are a number of famous theatres and castles. It is important to make hotel reservations well in advance. This prevents inconvenience on arrival and travelers need to carry proper documentation and adhere to visa and travel permits. When making reservations, tourists should make enquires regarding English speaking hotel staff. Of late, Prague has witnessed a continuous influx of tourists after the UNESCO declared it a world heritage site. The city flaunts a number of attractions and activities that tourists can make the most of, making the vacation enjoyable and memorable.
